Mentally challenged person was brutally assaulted, family alleges mob lynching


Mohammad Altaf Hussain a resident of Eidgah Mohalla, district Simdega has registered an FIR in the police station regarding his son Adil Hussain, who is mentally challenged, was attacked by Pradeep, Chotu Prasad Singh and other unknown persons when he had gone to Kotwali area. He has sustained severe head injuries and bruises on his both hands. After attacking him the attackers fled the spot perceiving him as dead. The victim family alleged that this was mob lynching and the culprits must be apprehended under relevant sections.
