Anti-Muslim Hate Campaign in Samaspur-Khalsa

On July 15, 2021 a delegation from Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind met DCP-Dwarka sector 19 regarding the samaspur Khalsa area, Najaggarh South-West Delhi, anti-Muslim hate campaign by some anti-social elements. On Behalf of the president of the Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, Hazrat Maulana Mahmood A. Madani sb. who is worried about the communal situation in the area, the delegation gave a written complaint to the DCP Dwarka Shri Santosh Kumar Meena. Shri Santosh Kumar Meena received the complaint copy and heard the delegation carefully. Supreme Court Lawyer advocate Mohd. Noorullah who was part of the delegation interacted with DCP and told him about the issue. He told the DCP that such event might harm the peaceful environment of the area. On July 10th, 2021 a group of local people allegedly belonging to Hindu Army took out a rally in the locality and campaigned against the Muslim residents. They threatened the local Muslim residents that leave the place within twenty-four hours. They put bogus allegations on Muslims regarding their faith. However, they shot the video of the hate campaign and shared it on social media. Soon it came to many local people’s notice and a sense of acute fear started prevailing among the local Muslim residents. On the condition of anonymity, one of the person who visited the affected place told Jamiat people that there are only few numbers of such miscreants who are harming the peace in the area and if the police takes adequate measures this situation could easily be controlled. A video of the same rally is doing rounds on social media platforms. It has been informed by the locals that few families have already left the place due to fear and violence. Local Muslim families are terrified. The DCP was also briefed about that local Hindus families who are also worried and apprehending that if it is not stopped here then it might unfold into some unpleasant situation. The delegation expressed deep concerns over the anti-Muslim hate campaign and raises the issues of those affected families who feel helpless and are seeking immediate interventions from the concerned Police offices
