I understand Love Jihad as a phenomenon wherein manipulation of love is done to spread a religion.” Delhi University issued an official statement to clarify its stand on the allegations. In the issues statements Delhi University said “it strongly refutes and condemns the falsity of news which is being circulated regarding favoring candidates from a few boards”. It stresses that Delhi University maintains justice and equity to all meritorious candidates coming not from only from Indian States but also from abroad.
