Jamiat expresses profound condemnation of Manipur incident

New Delhi 20-07-2023 President of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind Maulana Mahmood Asa’d Madani has expressed sadness, outrage, and profound condemnation of the recent horrific rape incident that took place in Manipur, India, and the criminal negligence of the government and administration in this regard. “The gravity of this heinous crime demands an urgent and unequivocal response from all of us, as we stand together to denounce such acts of violence and call for justice and change.”

Maulana Madani said that the incident had left our hearts heavy with grief for the victim and their family, and has shocked the conscience of the whole country. This is an egregious violation of human rights, an affront to our shared values, and an attack on the very fabric of society. As a society, we must stand united against such atrocities and work collectively to create a safe environment especially for weaker section of society.

We'd like to ask the Manipur government and the authorities to conduct a swift and transparent investigation into the incident and make sure that all those responsible for this abhorrent crime are brought to justice without delay. The survivors and their families deserve nothing less than full support, compassion, and a fair judicial process.

In this dark hour, we extend our heartfelt solidarity to the people of Manipur and the survivor and her family. Our thoughts are with them as they face unimaginable pain and suffering. We assure them that we stand with them, and together, we will strive to build a world that is safe and just for all.

जमीयत उलेमा-ए -हिंद के अध्यक्ष मौलाना महमूद असद मदनी ने मणिपुर में दो महिलाओं के साथ हुई घटना और इस संबंध में सरकार और प्रशासन की आपराधिक लापरवाही पर दुख, गुस्सा और कड़ी निंदा व्यक्त की है ।
मौलाना मदनी ने कहा कि इस घटना ने हमारे दिलों को दुख से भर दिया है और पूरे देश की अंतरात्मा को झकझोर कर रख दिया है. यौन हिंसा की यह घटना मानवाधिकारों का घोर उल्लंघन, हमारे साझा मूल्यों का अपमान और समाज की बुनियादी संरचना पर हमला है। एक समाज के रूप में, हमें ऐसे अत्याचारों के खिलाफ एकजुट होना चाहिए।
हम भारत सरकार और राज्य सरकार से मांग करते हैं कि इस घटना की त्वरित और पारदर्शी जांच कराई जाए और इस जघन्य अपराध के लिए जिम्मेदार लोगों को अविलंब न्याय के कठघरे में लाया जाए। पीड़ित और उनके परिवार तत्काल पूर्ण सहयोग, करुणा और एक निष्पक्ष न्यायिक प्रक्रिया से कम कुछ भी पाने के पात्र नहीं हैं।

جمعیۃ علماء ہند کے صدر مولانا محمود اسعد مدنی نے منی پور میں دو خواتین کے ساتھ رونما ہوئے انسانیت سوز واقعہ اور اس سلسلے میں سرکار اور انتظامیہ کی مجرمانہ غفلت پر دکھ، غم و غصے اور شدید مذمت کا اظہار کیا ہے او رکہا کہ اس سلسلے میں ذمہ داری طے ہونی چاہیے ۔

مولانا مدنی نے کہا کہ اس واقعے نے ہمارے دلوں کو غم سے بھر دیا ہے اورپورے ملک کے ضمیر کو جھنجھوڑ کر رکھ دیا ہے۔ جنسی تشدد کا یہ واقعہ انسانی حقوق کی سنگین خلاف ورزی، ہماری مشترکہ اقدار کی توہین اور معاشرے کے بنیادی ڈھانچے پر حملہ ہے۔ایک معاشرے کے طور پر، ہمیں ایسے مظالم کے خلاف متحد ہونا چاہیے ۔

ہم حکومت ہند اور ریاستی سرکار سے مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ وہ اس واقعے کی تیز اور صاف شفاف تحقیق کریں اور اس گھناؤنے جرم کے ذمہ داروں کو بلا تاخیر انصاف کے کٹہرے میں لایا جائے۔ لواحقین اور ان کے اہل خانہ فوری طور سے مکمل تعاون، ہمدردی اور منصفانہ عدالتی عمل سے کم کے مستحق نہیں ہیں۔
